am so excited as we venture on this journey together, to put poetry back on the
map.
As the founder and president of the Canadian Federation of Poets, and founder
and Managing Editor of Poetry Canada magazine, I have made it my personal
mission to unite the voices of poets and create a world-wide call to the
community so that together, our voices will be heard.
The Poetry of... is a trademarked series of books that will take every
subject that touches us, makes us who we are and with the power of poetry spread
good will, kindness, generosity, and positive thinking to change the dynamics of
the planet towards peace and prosperity.

If you have not done STEP 1 -

1. ANYONE can Email only ONE poem to: lauram@federationofpoets.com
(unless you are a CFP member then you can enter
THREE poems per anthology.)
2. Any poem, any size, must be unpublished.
3. Must have "The Poetry of" in the subject line.
4. Include your complete contact details in the body.
5. If you are under 18, please provide your age.
6. Only one poem will appear per poet.
7. Include the poem in the email body, and if you can,
attach your poem as a word document
too.
8. We only accept
Email submissions.
9. No fee to enter.

General Recommendations
The Poetry of... Anthologies are an extension of
the principles and mission of the CFP which are
to promote the positive influence of poetry for
the betterment of society. Even though life
can be rough, we want to inspire, give hope,
highlight the beauty and ability of the human
spirit to prevail, overcome and prosper.
We are looking for poems that do the above and
unite humanity in the celebration of all that is life.
